Free Tree Identification Manual Available Now!

Are you ready to immerse yourself in the great outdoors and sharpen your tree identification skills? We’re excited to offer you a FREE online Tree Identification Guide that serves as a perfect starting point for developing your knowledge of the trees around you.

This guide was used in last year’s Tree Identification Workshop, sponsored by ReGreen Springfield and the Green the Gateway City initiative. It’s packed with valuable information and visuals that will help you get familiar with the topics that will be covered in our upcoming course.

Mark Your Calendars: The same Tree Identification Course will be offered again in early November! Download the manual now and get a head start on the material before the live session.

Community Tree Planting – Volunteers Needed, Nov. 17th and 18th

Join your friends, neighbors and family to plant some new shade trees in the East Springfield Neighborhood. This effort, in partnership with the City of Springfield and the East Springfield Neighborhood Council, includes planting 50 new street trees along the roadways of the East Springfield neighborhood.

No experience is needed. Help for as much time as you want. Join us for a half hour, or all day. It’s your choice. Each day will go from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, so there are plenty of opportunities to help out.

All volunteers will receive a free tee shirt for joining in this effort.
