The Atwater Park Tree Planting Initiative is an exciting project aimed at enhancing the neighborhood’s green spaces by planting new shade trees, made possible through a generous donation from one of our long-time neighborhood families. If you received information about getting a tree for your yard, congratulations—you’ve been selected for the first round of planting, which will take place later in October. Please review the details in your packet, and if you do not wish to receive a tree, simply call or text 413-537-3748 or email info@regreenspringfield.org to opt out, allowing us to plant in another location.

These large, shade-providing trees will significantly contribute to a greener, more sustainable neighborhood by improving air quality, cooling the environment, and reducing stormwater flooding, while also adding beauty to your property.

If you haven’t received any information yet but would like to participate, please reach out to us at info@regreenspringfield.org, and we will arrange a visit to your home to select a tree for planting. This is a wonderful opportunity to accept a gift from your generous neighbors and ReGreen Springfield, and we look forward to making Atwater Park even more vibrant and environmentally friendly!
