Please consider joining Regreen Springfield as we continue to increase the tree canopy over Springfield.  Since the devastating tornado on June 1, 2011 we have accomplished great things, including helping to plant nearly 4,000 new trees in Springfield.  Take a few minutes and help us to accomplish our goals for this summer… providing environmental education to youth in low-income neighborhoods, helping to restore Abbey Brook in East Springfield, partnering with the US Forest Service, UMass, the US Fish and Wildlife Service and NASA to make Springfield more sustainable, and starting our new Citizen Science initiative.

Please join Regreen Springfield as we celebrate the Spring season and acknowledge the work of our community volunteers and partners, who have helped to regreen the city… one tree at a time.

On Tuesday, May 24th Regreen Springfield will be holding our annual “ReGreen Spring Celebration” at the Barney Carriage House in Springfield’s Forest Park, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. We hope that you will be able to attend, this festive event, which will help support our continued good work in Springfield.

Business casual is the order for the evening, and a cash bar and great food will help make it a night of fun and friendship. Your attendance and generous support of this event, will help fund our Summer Youth Intern Program and our and our 2016 Tree Planting initiatives.

The historic Barney Carriage House at Forest Park will serve as a backdrop for this fun filled evening, and the Park will be in full bloom, celebrating the arrival of Spring and our new tree planting season. Come learn about our upcoming plans for this year, meet our Board members and relax and have a great time.  You will be glad you did.
