Join a neighborhood planting event on Earth Day, April, 22, 2021 in the Mason Square Neighborhood. New trees, a pollinator garden and information on how you can help fight climate change, right in your own hometown.  Please plan to attend, and spend some celebrating Earth Day 2021.  The day’s events kick off at 10:00 AM and continue all day.

Bring your friends and family to Adams Park, 376 Wilbraham Road. Planting kicks off at 11:00 AM.  You can help plant a tree or a pollinator garden, which will help make the neighborhood a bit greener and more sustainable.

This is a COVID-19 Awareness event, with all CDC and MA Department of Public Health protocols for public events. Masks and social distancing required to participate in the event.

During the session you help to place a collection of air-quality monitors across the city, in order to better understand how air pollution impacts public health. You can help us decide where to place those monitors! Also, you will learn about opportunities to help plant new trees in neighborhoods across the city this Spring in order to help address climate change, right in your own neighborhood.
