On Saturday, November 23rd volunteers gathered at the intersection of Allen St. and Bicentennial Highway in Springfield’s East Forest Park neighborhood. The Springfield Garden Club graciously donated 17 new trees to be planted at the new green space adjacent to the intersection. Volunteers from Springfield high schools, UMass Amherst, The Federated Garden Club, The Springfield Garden Club, The Springfield Forestry Division and ReGreen Springfield worked to transform the green space into a beautiful grove of trees. This event is a great example of what ReGreen can accomplish by collaborating with other local organizations. Please drive by and check out our hard work!
