Regreen Springfield at Springfield’s Earth Day Festival

Regreen Springfield participated in the 44th Annual Earth Day Celebration, held on Sunday, April 13th at the Springfield Science Museum.  The event featured many area organizations, agencies and businesses who work on projects related to the protection and enhancement of the region’s environment.  Regreen Springfield Board member Todd Beals, and University of Massachusetts Urban Forestry student Conor Laffey staffed the informational exhibit, which featured tree care publications, as well as a raffle of a Peach Tree.

  • Great American Cleanup Display by Keep Springfield Beautiful
  • Casting Clinic by the Massachusetts Wildlife Angler Education Program
  • Wastewater Treatment Model by United Water Environmental Services
  • Recycling Display by Springfield DPW
  • Paper Making activity by the Environmental Center for Our Schools (ECOS)
  • Renewable Resource Display by Center for EcoTechnology (CET)
  • Drinking Water Display by Springfield Water and Sewer Commission
