ReGreen Springfield is encouraging residents to use the free iNaturalist app to document trees, plants, and wildlife across the city. Your observations help build a living map of Springfield's urban ecosystem.

The iNaturalist platform allows anyone with a smartphone to photograph and identify plants, animals, and fungi in their neighborhood. Every observation is verified by a community of naturalists and scientists, contributing to real biodiversity data used by researchers and conservationists.
