Regreen Springfield Partners with Berkshire Bank for Xtraordinary Day

41882001054_688f0c8418_oOn June 5th, over 40 volunteers from Berkshire Bank joined Regreen Springfield, the Behavioral Health Network, the City of Springfield Forestry Division and the North End C-3 Community Policing Initiative, joined forces to plant new shade and ornament trees at Gurdon Bill Park in Springfield.  The work day was one of over 70 different projects that were completed on that day, as part of the Bank’s Extraordinary Day, which provided an opportunity for all of Berkshire Bank’s employees to assist in community engagement projects across the country. Also, as part of the day’s activities, two perennial gardens with over 200 plants installed in the Park.
