Transforming Glendell Terrace with New Trees

ReGreen Springfield is excited to announce a successful collaboration with interns from the Springfield Water and Sewer Commission, Springfield City Forestry, and our very own Green Corps Program for kids and Green Skill Program for adults. Together, we transformed Glendell Terrace found in the Historic Forest Park Neighborhood into a vibrant green space that the entire community can enjoy!

Through our efforts we were able to achieved:
The planting of 9 beautiful street trees of varying species
The Creation of a brand-new pollination garden, welcoming bees, butterflies, and birds
This project has truly enhanced the beauty of the neighborhood, creating a space that brings both pride and joy to the community. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to making our vision a reality—your hard work and dedication made this a great success!

This project was made possible through funding from the Springfield Community Preservation Committee, reflecting their ongoing commitment to enhancing our city’s green and public open spaces.
