East Springfield Greening the Gateway Cities Community Tree Planting
Join your friends, neighbors and family to plant some new shade trees in the East Springfield Neighborhood. This effort, in partnership with the City of Springfield and the East Springfield Neighborhood Council, includes planting 50 new street trees along the roadways of the neighborhood. No experience is needed. Help for as much time as you want. Join us for a half hour or all day. It’s your choice.
Meet at Marshall Roy Park at El Pasco Street parking lot anytime during either day.
Pre-registration is required by November 10th if you want to receive a tee shirt for your volunteer effort.
